The Positive Speakers Guide is a strategic resource developed to challenge societal stigma and transform contemporary attitudes toward HIV. At its heart, the guide centres on the authentic lived experiences of people living with HIV, using the power of shared storytelling to foster empathy and understanding.
Design process
The resource was tailored for two primary goals: Positive Speakers preparing to share their journeys and advocate for change within HIV law, policy, and practice.
The design process focused on creating a layout that balanced sensitive personal narratives with practical guidance, ensuring the stories remained the focal point while providing a professional framework for advocacy.
‘When Daniel heard of the project, he immediately volunteered his outstanding design skills. Working with Daniel was a delight and I was delighted with the final product. The layout was simple and unique and has added the professional quality to the manual that makes me proud of this second edition of a valuable resource.’
