The first Women Know What Works pre-conference was successfully held at the 13th International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Science in Kigali, Rwanda (July 2025). The event, which hosted over 350 women, prioritized attendance through a dedicated scholarship initiative for women living with HIV in the region.

The agenda gathered diverse global voices and international experts to address critical issues impacting women and girls living with HIV, including sexual and reproductive rights, criminalization, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and aging, as they relate to prevention, treatment, care, and quality of life.

Design process

• Developed a unique event brand identity while ensuring full compliance with Posithiva Gruppen’s existing style guide.

• Designed and managed production for all event collateral, including programs, large-format banners, and t-shirts, utilizing a bold visual treatment that mirrored the event's powerful theme.
