Living Positive Victoria rebrand

CLIENT
Living Positive Victoria (LPV)

2025

Since 1988, Living Positive Victoria (LPV) has been the peak community-based organisation representing all people living with HIV in Victoria. As an organisation, they are deeply committed to the advancement of human rights, wellbeing, and the empowerment of a diverse and resilient community.

A Collaborative Evolution

Having been a member of LPV for many years, I was honoured to be invited to rebrand the organisation. After an office relocation, it was the ideal moment to retire an outdated visual identity and replace it with a brand that reflected the modern face of the community.

The rebranding process was intentionally collaborative, involving staff and community members to ensure the new identity resonated with those it serves.

  • The new logo symbolises the point where diverse individuals connect with each other and with the vital services LPV provides. The design centres on a custom node shape—a fluid, organic form that also represents a variety of bodily fluids.

  • The brand was designed to be bold and unapologetic, specifically crafted to engage a diverse audience spanning a wide range of cultural backgrounds and lived experiences.

  • Beyond the logo, I developed a comprehensive style guide and a suite of internal templates. This empowered the LPV team to produce their own professional collateral—from social media to reports—while maintaining a consistent brand presence.

This project was more than just a design exercise; it was an opportunity to give a voice and a face to an organization that has been a cornerstone of my community for decades.
